This week at WMES

Dear WMES Families:

Indoor Shoes update: 
• As the weather continues to change daily, the importance of having indoor sneakers at school is becoming evident.   We recognize that carrying indoor shoes back and forth each day is quite cumbersome for students.  Beginning this week, students may leave a pair of indoor sneakers at school if they are clearly labelled with their names on them.

Halloween 2020 at WMES:
• Last call for Halloween pictures for our Virtual Halloween Parade. If you would like them included in our video please email them by Wednesday, October 28th to wmlcs@hrce.ca.

• Please do not send in treats to share on Friday. 
• A reminder that we are having “Orange and Black” day on Friday.  No costumes this year.

Outdoor classroom Updates:
• We need your help!
We are so excited that REXEL Atlantic in Burnside has donated some spool tables of varying sizes for our outdoor learning zones.  So Awesome! 
However, in order to make the tables more student friendly we need to give them some TLC. 
We are looking for some volunteers to help us sand the tables and then paint them. 
If anyone would like to come help sand the tables please contact Mrs. Wolfe and we’ll set up a time.
If your family would like to “adopt” and paint a table and help us get it “student ready” please let us know and we’ll label your table.
