TD Summer Reading Club

The TD Summer Reading Club at Halifax Public Libraries is back, and better than ever!
After two years of adapted activities in light of the pandemic, we are keen to offer both in-person and adapted activities in 2022. We hope to see a record number of registrations!

The TD Summer Reading Club is an entirely free, entirely fun experience for kids ages 3+ and can be adapted to all interests and abilities. 

How to Register:

Registration is open June 15 through August 31.

Earn Points & Win Big
When you sign up for TD Summer Reading Club, set your
points goal for the summer. You can earn points by:
• Reading, reading, reading—to yourself or someone else
• Telling a joke
• Drawing a picture
• Writing a story
• Conducting a science experiment
• Singing a song
• Playing a board game
• Making a craft
• Putting on a play
• Anything that expands your mind!

You’ll win mini prizes when you hit your halfway points goal, and your full points goal. And, all kids who hit their full points goal will be entered for a chance to win our amazing grand prizes—including a CycleSmith gift card, LEGO gift card, and Library Extravaganza experience.
