Waverley Memorial

This Week at WMES – June 7 – 11th

Dear families:

A few updates/ reminders for this week:

• Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 8th, we are asking all of our students and staff to wear orange as we take a moment of silence to honour the memory of the 215 indigenous children found in Kamploops, BC last week.
Every child matters!

• Please call from the Kiss & Go loop for pick ups,  and to drop off items.  We are trying to limit the number of people in building.  We ask that you not to come into the office unless it is an emergency. Thanks for your understanding.

• Please be sure to check out the updated Daily Covid-19 checklist, and review each morning before sending students to school. We continue to follow Public Health Guidelines, and if students are not feeling well they should stay home.

• If at all possible please send an extra mask in your child’s backpack. They tend to get dirty or wet (or lost)  throughout the day and an extra comes in handy.

• Students should bring each day: water bottle, hat, unscented sunscreen and or bug spray (as long as your child is able to apply themselves). Students can not share these items - they must bring their own.
