This Week at WMES – June 14-18th 

Dear families:

A few updates/ reminders for this week:

• Please be sure to check out the updated Daily Covid-19 checklist, and review each morning before sending students to school. We continue to follow Public Health Guidelines, and if students are not feeling well they should stay home.

• At this time we are expecting to have 11 classrooms next year.  If you know of anyone who has not registered for school for next year please encourage them to come in and register before the end of the school year.  Late registration day will take place on August 25th.

Staffing updates for 2021-22:

• We would like to congratulate Ms. Jennifer Brace on her new 100% position at Grosvenor-Wentworth Elementary School for the upcoming school year. We are sad to lose her – but so happy for her as she enters this next fantastic stage of her career.  Congratulations Ms. Brace.
• We would also like to welcome Mrs. Natalie Allen who will be joining our teaching team next year.  Welcome to WMES Mrs. Allen.
• Mrs. MacKay is Retiring!  If anyone has any messages or memories to share please send them to kwolfe@hrce.ca by June 23rd.  Thanks.

Important upcoming dates:

• June 29th – No School – Assessment day
• June 30th – Last day of school. Dismissal at 10am.
• August 25th – Late Registration Day
