A big shout out to our PTC and staff for putting on a fabulous pancake breakfast for our students last Thursday. 

Mark your calendars… Our PTC is hard at work planning a Spring Fling for June 13th from 5:30-7:30pm.  More details to come soon.

If your student is in Grade 4 or 5 please read the news item on our website: Student Success Survey 2023 - Parental Privacy Notice.  This survey is done each year across the province with students in Grades 4-12.   It will be administered between April 17th and May 5th.

Registration for 2023-24
If you or someone you know has a student starting school at WMES in September and haven’t registered yet, please do so at this link asap.  Staffing for the 2023-24 school year begins now and is based on current enrollment numbers.   Thank you.
 

If you are in need of COVID testing kits or masks please let us know.  We can send some home - or you can drop in to pick them up.
 

Upcoming Dates for your calendar:
Kenny’s Pizza Fundraiser - Order the first week of May.  Pick up will be May 11th!  More details to come home soon.
May 11 - PTC and SAC meetings
May 22 - Victoria Day - No School
June 13 - Spring Fling (5:30-7:30pm)
June 15th - Field Day (morning)  Rain Date: June 20th
June 23rd - Last day for the cafeteria for this year
June 29 - No School - Assessment Day
June 30 - Last day of school / Reports home
