Our November calendar can be found here.
A reminder that this Friday, November 17th is an Assessment & Evaluation day for teachers. There is no school for students on Friday.
Report Cards will be emailed home next Tuesday, November 21st.
Student Progress conferences with teachers will take place on Wednesday, November 22 from 6-8pm and on Thursday, November 23rd from 1-3pm.
You can sign up for a conference by going to this link beginning on Wednesday, November 15th.
November 23rd is a Professional Development Day for staff in the morning, and Student Progress conferences in the afternoon so there is no school on that day.
School Musical Update:
Junie B Jones Jr. The Musical is coming to Waverley Memorial this December!
We are so excited to present this to our school community. More information will be coming soon on how to request tickets, but we want to you mark your calendars now:
December 11 - Matinee Performance
December 12 - Evening Performance (All grade 3-5 students participating)
December 13 - Evening Performance (Cast of Junie B Jones)

** P-2 students / classes are not participating in the Musical, but families are still invited / encouraged to attend one of our performances if you can. It’s fantastic. P-2 students will be performing in our Spring “Celebrate the Arts” night on April 24th. (Mark your calendars )
Schools Plus Update:
How is it November already? The clocks have gone back and we’ve already had our first snowfall ! As the weather starts to get colder Schoolsplus can help with sourcing winter boots and clothing if required so please reach out if you need anything.
The holiday season is fast approaching and Feed Nova Scotia has some wonderful resources to help families this year. Registration is already open and deadlines are approaching. Please see the link below for more information.
You can register online beginning November 1, by clicking here.
Starting Wednesday, November 8, requests can be submitted over the phone by calling 902-457-2849 and staff will be available 9am until 4pm, Monday to Friday.
You can submit your request through the mail by sending it to the address below. Mailed-in requests will be processed starting November 1.
