This Week at WMES
Week of March 4-8, 2024

Dear WMES families:

• Our March  calendar can be found on our webpage.  We are celebrating Spirit Week at WMES this week.

Monday:   Wear your favorite jersey, or something with your favorite number on it.  (Homemade options are awesome!)
Tuesday:  Sparkle / rainbow day.  Wear something that sparkles, or something with your favorite colour(s) today.
Wednesday:  Dress like a teacher  / or your favorite character from a book day.
Thursday: Backwards Day / or PJ Day / OR Backwards PJ's day.;)
Friday: Fun Hair or hat day.

• March Break is next week and there is no school for students or staff.  On Monday, March 18th staff return for an Assessment and Evaluation Day to prepare second term report cards. Students return to school on Tuesday, March 19th.
   
• Student progress conferences will take place the afternoon and evening of April 4th.   The online portal to sign up will be open after March Break.
   
• There is no school on April 4th.
   
• Our Grade 2 Art Club is looking for toilet paper rolls.   If you could save some and send them in we would appreciate it.  Thanks.

April 11 - PTC and SAC meetings
April 24 - Spring “Celebrate the Arts” night at WMES
