This Week at WMES
Week of January 3-7

Dear WMES families:
Welcome back!  We hope that everyone had a chance to rest and rejuvenate over the holidays.  Our January calendar can now be found on our webpage.  

Some important info for you this week:

• Please ensure that your child is bringing a refillable water bottle with them to school each day. 

• Our cafeteria re-opened today.

• Please remember that the main bus loop is open to vehicles only after the morning bus drop offs have completed.  If there is a bus in the bus loop you can not enter or pass a bus unless a staff member has directed you to do so.

• Family Literacy Day takes place every January 27th to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family.
  This year’s theme is Celebrate Your Heritage! Canada is a great diverse country full of different cultures. Use reading as a way to explore and learn about your heritage and the dynamic cultures that make up our communities.

          *FAMILY LITERACY WEEK POSTER ATTACHED

• If you are in need of COVID testing kits or masks please let us know.  We can send some home - or you can drop in to pick them up.
