This Week at WMES
Week of October 11 - 14

Dear WMES families:
Our October Calendar can be found on our webpage.  

This week:

• Our cafeteria is closed on Thursday, October 13th.  If you have already ordered your money has been refunded.

• All students will take place in a Bus evacuation Drill tomorrow, Nov. 12th.  We will have 3 buses here at school in the morning, and drivers will review safe bus procedures with students, and then practice exiting the bus through the rear door as they would in a potential emergency situation.  Bus evacuation drills take place once each school year.

• This week we will also have our 2nd Fire Drill of the school year.    Fire Drills take place 6 times each year. 

• School Photo Day is October 25th.  Photo retakes will take place on Nov. 10th.

• Our Terry Fox Run has been rescheduled (from last week) to this Friday afternoon.

• Our PTC and SAC groups are meeting this Thursday evening.  The PTC (Parent Teacher Cooperative) will meet at 6pm, and the SAC (School Advisory Council) will meet at 7pm.

• We are hosting a Family Flu Shot Clinic in our cafeteria on October  26th from 2 to 6pm.

• If you are in need of COVID testing kits please let us know.  We can send some home - or you can drop in to pick them up.

October 26th - Family Flu Shot Clinic - from 2-6pm (If you are interested please be sure to bring your health card information with you).
October 27 - Halloween Howl  6-7pm
